Modifications:A bunch.
Comments:This was the first project for Stitches 1. All colors given in yarn pack had to be used at least once. Stranding had to follow chart as given, but final project could become whatever the knitter desired. I desired a bag. I stole a stranded hat pattern and adapted the decs to make a flat bottom, then made I-cord handles, lined it with appropriately funky fabric, and no sooner was it done than my daughter saw it, and now she's got this really great stranded backpack.

Love that bag, especially the bottom. Does it have knitted straps and if so, have they held up?
